Just an IVF long hauler stumbling on your content today and wanting to thank you for sharing this part of your life! I have stage 4 endo and had a few surgeries after IVF set my symptoms on fire. IVF didn’t work for me (no one really talks about that either, how this path is not a guarantee), but also nothing in fertility is ever a guarantee. We are going through surrogacy now and I have IVF to thank for this pathway too. Big hugs, you’re so strong!

Hi Lo - thank you for sharing about your journey with freezing 3 times! At 32 I did freezing for the first time, got 18 eggs that are on ice. Now 34 and still single. Did you do the 2nd and 3rd round to get a certain number of eggs in total? Curious on details for multiple rounds and if I should be considering doing it a 2nd time!

I hear the hormones take such a toll on your body... as someone who is so into health & wellness, why did you make the decision to put your body through something so taxing AND are there any steps you can do to homeopathically support your body to recover from the impact of the hormone injections and medications you are putting it through?

I want children and during health screenings discovered I may have some infertility issues - so I don’t have many options outside of egg freezing and IVF. Acupuncture, gentle exercise, lymphatic drainage are best for recovery!

Thank you :) What screenings did you do prior in order to discover that?

Getting your AMH (probable egg reserve in relation to your age) levels checked is a good place to start, along with other hormone markers tied to fertility like FSH and LH. Basic ultrasound of the uterus. 💗

Ugh this feels like me. I froze my eggs at 30 in 2019 and during the process was kind of freaked out by how low my numbers were, low normal (only 30!) and I only got 11 eggs. Fast forward to 2025, about to turn 36 I’m still just as single but I’ve been through a lay off and losing my dad and I’m just not in a place to do it again yet financially but I know I should. Hoping it all works out and I’ll meet someone. Love hearing your egg quality got better tho!

yes, I did a lot of work to improve quality. it's an uphill battle, but hopefully one that pays off. we're very hopeful.
